Tomoe River Paper, which created Tomoe River, ceased production of Tomoe River in 2021. However, to continue the globally beloved Tomoe River brand, its legacy was passed on to
Miyoshi Paper, located in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.
Compared to Tomoe River paper from Tomoe River Paper, the paper thickness has increased by about 5 microns, but its surface smoothness and ink-bleeding resistance have improved.
