Zephyr Studio's inks are based on traditional Japanese colors, and their names reflect the images associated with those colors.
"Nami no Uta" (Poem of Waves), which expresses the color Omeshi-cha, is an ink that reproduces the color of chirimen silk loved by the 11th Shogun Ienari as a kimono for the Tokugawa family.
The reddish tint visible within the muted green appears beautifully in the shading when written with a broad nib.
